This blog documents my experiences and thoughts while developing Systo, an open web-based toolkit for viewing, building and simulating the behaviour of systems models. Systo supports System Dynamics (stock-and-flow) modelling, as well as other modelling notations based on node-and-arc diagrams.
I’m Robert Muetzelfeldt, and I live in Edinburgh. I used to lecture in the University of Edinburgh, Institute of Ecology and Resource Management. I’m now an independent academic, with an honorary position in the School of Informatics in the University. I’m also a co-Director of Simulistics Ltd, which develops the Simile visual modelling environment.
Feel free to email me about Systo or anything else at robertm*ed+ac+uk.
